Because when I hear this rendition of Crazy in Love, I suddenly imagine a Top Gear mk2 film where Jeremy Clarkson reviews a super-hot, Monster Tajima-tuned production version of the Suzuki SX4 in some giant snow/mud pit with passengers and cargo loaded in, complete with “mind-blowing acceleration” (0 TO NINETY IN TWO SECONDS!!! ; A HUNDRED AND FIFTY IN FOUR SECONDS!!! NOW I’M UP TO A HUNDRED AND EIGHTY!!! I’M STILL GOING!!!), a showcase of the WRC-level handling (“Effortless, effortless steering”; “Chassis balance is magnificent!” It doesn’t feel like I’m driving a weapons-grade eater of worlds”), gear shift (“I just nudge the gear lever and I’m suddenly in The Outer Rim Territories”; “This is how all automatics should look and feel”) and handbrake (“This is THE NUMBER ONE REASON why handbrakes shall never die), jumps while passengers eats a fancy lunch (and landing with none of the lunch spilling) and a closing part where he buries every other crossover in the SX4’s rooster tail and says something magnanimous about the car that will sell you on the thing.
Of course, like most “Whoa, GOD!” cars on TG, it’ll start with some nitpicking and critique. Or maybe it’ll be like the 1M review where he had a hard time finding something wrong?
